The story

They found a prisoner. They freed a curse.

Ashley and Jude are used to being hunted. As teenage outcasts, they know what it means to run.

When a gang of local bullies chases them into the woods surrounding Devil’s Ditch, they discover an ancient farmhouse hidden among the trees — a place that should not exist.

Beneath it, inside a rotting cellar, they find a woman. Chained. Waiting.

Her name is Rose. She cannot explain who she is or how she got there, but one thing becomes clear very quickly: there is something deeply wrong about her.

What begins as an act of kindness spirals into occult violence, buried history and relentless supernatural terror as Ashley and Jude uncover a secret that has survived for generations.

Because Rose is not the prisoner. She is the curse. And now she is free.

The Cursed Manuscripts

Ten standalone nightmares. One cursed universe.

Each Cursed Manuscript tells a complete horror story, but the books share a wider world of impossible events, dark artefacts and ancient evils. Witch is the beginning.

Book one of the curse

“The farmhouse should never have been found. Rose should never have been set free.”

Witch blends folk horror, supernatural suspense, mystery and creeping dread into the opening chapter of The Cursed Manuscripts.
